Vladimir Mandrychenko has become the new President of Ukrainian Coal Alliance.

Vladimir Nikolayevich Mandrychenko was appointed to position of the Head of Ukrainian Coal Alliance on February 2, 2010.

Vladimir Nikolayevich is a proficient top-manager. He has been holding a raw of governing posts at coal mining enterprises of Ukraine for a long time. He was unanimously elected Head of Association in connection with planned changes in Coal Alliance activities.

Antimonopoly committee admitted a claim of Ukrainian coal alliance to be logical

Antimonopoly committee admitted a requirement to stop economical discrimination of private mines to be logical.  Corresponding to application of Ukrainian coal alliance, representatives of the state antimonopoly service agreed:

“Execution of The Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine” regulation №25 from April 2, 2009 can have negative consequences for competitive relationship development on coal market. In spite of statutory power of the Committee to endorse Cabinet of Ministers legal acts, which are able to affect on competition ability, this regulation project hasn’t been submitted for endorsement. In turn The Committee  addressed a caveat about negative consequences connected with competition blocking and deformation of relations on Ukrainian coal market to the Cabinet of Ministers.” 

Private mines clamoured against state monopoly

Association Ukrainian coal alliance submitted an application to Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine with demand to stop illegal competition-blocking in coal sector.
